Can you get HD DVD quality with no HDMI cable? - upconvert dvd quality
If you have an HD DVD player, but an HDTV (55 inches), which is not compatible with HDMI, you can always have the quality of HD-DVD? Upconversion I know you will not be able to but I'm not worried.

I have an HD DVD player and I tried both HDMI cable and the cable was supplied with the drive, and there is little difference between the two. HDMI cable the picture is a little taste than standard cables seems, but honestly, you will not truly be missed.
