Sata Raid Pci Driver Should I Get A PCI Express X1 SATA RAID Controller Or A Regular PCI RAID Controller? And Is It Worth It?

Should I get a PCI Express x1 SATA RAID controller or a regular PCI RAID controller? And is it worth it? - sata raid pci driver

Hello, I currently have a team a little bit of my time recently, but details are: Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows 7, Pentium D OC'ed to 3.7GHZ, a motherboard MSI P965 Neo, 4 GB DDR2-667 RAM, an NVIDIA 8600GT, 1 500 GB SATA II hard drives and 2 SATA II hard drives of 160 GB. Prefer it appears, on board, but my motherboard supports SATA II RAID as a device to an IDE device ... completely useless then 8 SATA slots on the motherboard ... Nevertheless, there is no advantage in speed when using a PCI / PCI-E x1 RAID controller? And I'm looking for a RAID 0, but how can I get this 500GB HDD possible? Thank you.
